Located at 478 m Mount Gagyu it is also the highest altitude castle in Japan. The book tells about the history of the castle from the early XIII c. to nowadays. Extant buildings of the castles date back to the XVII c. In spite of simple architecture, it is one of the most beautiful castles in Japan.
